hi Michelle, amazing blog and fantastic reports of your work and travels. I came across your site while looking at the Facebook page for Frances (my sister) and recognised your name. All your words and thoughts are so inspiring. They will motivate more of us to get out and explore the world. Good luck with any plans for the rest of 2010. John.

    Hi MIchelle,
An old school friend in California sent me your addy for some male reason. I’m a traveller too, but Iran isn’t on my “to do” list. It’s great that you love travelling. I don’t know why you’re an Iranophile, but I’m sure you have interesting reasons. I don’t know anything about you other than the photo here. I work for my own charity: music. I am a musician because quite simply music makes people better human beings. The poverty of the world is not in the 3rd world. The poverty is in the 1st world. It is not the poverty of the flesh that is the problem. It is the poverty of the spirit. And that poverty is the strongest, most potent and most destructive in the first world. Call it the USA for short.Call it the Western World. China has even more problems as they take over the world economicly and numerically. Can you speak the lingo of old Persia? How are you with human rights? Being so close to the baddies, you must be in a very vulnerable position. You are very brave. Music fulfills a lot of wonderful things but the world is ignorant. This is both good and bad. Good because the benefits arrive without anyone knowing or being aware of it, not dissimilar to the rising and setting of the sun. Well, you probably don’t have the time to read these blogs anyway as you are busy with the natives, natives who are getting restless. So, I will bid you adieu and wish you all the very best. If you ever get to London, do look me up. We could banter away about saving the world, planet or the species of great ape that Homo rapiens is.

Michelle, Although I worry for your safety… You are an incredible woman, I am proud to know you and hope that you are able to continue showing us the world through your eyes. You have a talent for showing the innocence and the anger. Thank you for sharing your views, I respect you and the work you are doing. I hope that fate helps our paths to cross again someday. Talk to you later, beautiful lady! -Trish<3
